What affects the cost

The price of orthodontic treatment depends on what is being corrected and how long it takes. A case that needs minor alignment costs less than one correcting a significant bite discrepancy. Appliance type matters less than treatment length in most cases.

You get the full fee in writing at the consult. What it covers is set out in your treatment agreement.

Paying over time

Most patients pay monthly across the course of treatment. We arrange the schedule with you directly. The terms are set out in your treatment agreement before you commit to anything.

Payment plans are available. The terms are set out in your treatment agreement before you commit.

HSA and FSA

Orthodontic treatment is an eligible expense under both health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts. You can use those funds toward your portion of the cost.

FSA funds generally do not roll over at year end. If you have a balance to use and are considering treatment, the timing is worth raising at your consult.

What the free consult covers

The initial consult costs nothing. The consult is free. Dr. Cen will tell you at that visit whether any records carry a charge.

You are not asked to decide at that appointment.
